Melvin B. Bassi, one of the deans of the legal profession in the region, serves as president of the firm. Mr. Bassi is a WWII veteran of the United States Navy. He is a graduate and current trustee of Washington& Jefferson College, as well as a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Law School. Long active in civic affairs, he serves as Washington County Solicitor and as Washington County Commissioner. He has been admitted to practice before all state and federal courts. He has been chairman of the board of directors of Charleroi Federal Savings Bank for many years. He is a member of the Washington County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations, the American Judicature Society, the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the American Trial Lawyers Association. Keith A. Bassi is a graduate of Yale University and Duquesne School of Law. He is the managing director of the firm. Mr. Bassi serves as general counsel to Charleroi Federal Savings Bank, solicitor for two school districts, and for various municipal clients. He is experienced in estate planning and administration. Active in economic development circles, he serves as solicitor for the Middle Monongahela Industrial Development Agency, and the Mid Mon Valley Chamber of Commerce. Paul served as law clerk to the Honorable Gustave Diamond, then Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
